[Eugene & Andrea] Registration of Marriage

Believe it or not, this is my 1st time shooting @ National Registration Department in Putrajaya. It’s Eugene & Andrea’s special day to register their union together, legalizing their status as Husband & Wife. I’m there to capture some shots and also to take some portraits around the area.

Mel & Rob, the sweetest & gorgeous couple I have the privilege to capture. The day starts @ Mel’s house for her make-up session. While the ladies were getting ready, I take the opportunity to grab some shots of the shoes, dress, & of course the rings.

It’s always great to hear from a old friend, this time, a old old friend all the way from high school It was to capture his whole wedding journey.

Just last weekend was his tunang(engagement) ceremony,his house was a buzz with activity, both from the preparations & the side effects of a huge family. He’s the youngest of 10!

Alif + Amri’s Akad Nikah

Finally, it’s Alif & Amri’s Akad Nikah. I’ve been pretty excited to capture their wedding since the day I shot their pre-wedding a couple of months back.

The akad nikah ceremony was held at Alif’s home. The place was a hive of activity; with her large family all running ensuring everyone attending is comfortable and making sure everything is at it’s place. I was pretty much accepted as their “extended family”, with full access to the place & of course the super delicious food!

Before we start with shots from the reception, here’s a slideshow from the chip san leong session before the ceremony starts.

Here are some of the selected shots from the extremely fun party. This could probably be the most fun wedding reception I have ever attended.

This week is going be an awesome week! It’s finally time for Richie & Celina to have their wedding reception & ceremony.

Just over the weekend, I was at Church of St. Francis Xavier to capture their special day. It’s nice to meet up with them again, at the same time to deliver the final album & prints from the pre-wedding to them. Here’s the link to their pre-wedding portraits taken end last year. Portraits in The Heritage Station Hotel

Meet Alif & Amri, an extremely funny & fun couple, just can’t wait to start their lives together as a husband & wife. As usual with most couples, it’s pretty exciting to have their portraits, tho I would say with a little apprehension from Amri. I gave him my promise not to make him do too much stuff and assured he will enjoy himself. Alif on the other hand, the beaming bride to be, just can’t wait to go out and explore the location, The Heritage Station Hotel in the old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station.

Instead of the normal 4 hour session the hotel normally provides, we took a room instead and shot till late in the evening for more drama shots I would say the location for sure provides tons of interesting locations, tho some nook & crannies would be more fitting in the TV series “Supernatural”

Anyway let’s begin with the selected shots from the day.
