I had the pleasure of capturing the moments for Angie & Jason again, this time for their Chinese ceremony. It was an early morning as usual, this time, Emily joined me in the festivities.
As all Chinese weddings, it starts bright and early, beginning with bride's preparation. Off I head to do some detail shots.

Here's her mom placing the veil for her, as "rumors" of the groom arriving soon to fetch her.

Here was Jason as he tried to get into the house. The groom and his "heng-tais" had lots to go through and were in the midst of "serious" negotiation. It was crazy!

Up to a point the bride's mom was taken hostage by the "chee-muis"

I then went into the final "fort" and waited for them, below was the contract he signed for his wife.

Angie got a surprise gift from Jason.

Jason with his wife by his side, headed to serve tea to his bride's family in the tea ceremony.

Then off we left, it was time to go to the groom's family home.

A quick portrait before we head to another round of tea ceremony with Jason's family.

Finally a quick portrait of Angie just before I left for home
Thanks to Angie & Jason for such a crazy & interesting day.
It was very fun and rewarding capturing such a fun couple with their energetic "chee-muis" and "heng-tais".
